Two cars were imported (the ED11 #1 and the ED11 #2). The ED11 #1 was retired in 1960 and moved to the Seibu Railway. The ED11 #2 operated until 1976, after which it was no longer used and is now carefully preserved at the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park in Nagoya.
