This stunning example has been crafted in deep, rich cobalt blue glass and displays a most divine lustrous iridescent carnival finish. The rich iridescent finish features striking shades of electric blue, purple, pink, orange, green and gold; the oil-slick colours appearing to change as light dances over the stylishly curved form. The interior of the bowl is beautifully decorated with a relief design featuring two peacocks in an exotic garden with flowing fountains. The relief pattern magnificently accentuates the stunning sparkle of the iridescent carnival finish. The elegant bowl stands proudly atop slender stem and wide, stable foot decorated with an intricate lace pattern. The rich iridescent carnival colours are amongst the finest we have seen and the pattern is lovely and crisp. SIZE: This impressive compote stands approx 160mms tall and measures 170mms in diameter.
