Description: For sale is this pair of NOS NIB new testing RCA 6L6s-a black plate 6L6GC tests 105%a gray plate 6L6GB (same size plate) tests 105%both have no discoloration or silvering above the heater6L6GC has light shop use- scratch at base shown in picture from claws that hold tubes upside in an amp. 6L6GB and 6L6GC have the same specs up to 400 volts-only difference- 6L6GB design center 400 max plate volts, 19 watts dissipation (can output over 50 watts/pair).6L6GC design center max plate volts 500, 22 watts dissipation. The only vintage Fenders that went slightly over400V were the last (unpopular) year made, where they tried to eliminate distortion to compete with clean solid state amps that were a fad that year, and even those ran about 420 plate volts, 30 cathode, usually 30ma plate bias, (390*0.03amps) thats only 11.7 watts zero signal current, i would not worry about these in any Fender 6L6GC amp, or any amp that outputs up to and including 50 watts/pair of any 6L6s. They both weigh 1.6 oz, i don't think there is any significant difference between them, and only worry about max plate dissipation (not a problem) not max plate voltage (6V6GT and EL84/6BQ5 are rated for 315 and 300 design center max plate volts, but run about 420 volts in Scotts, Dynacos, Voxx, Harmon Kardon, and almost every gutiar amp). The 400V design center rating for 6L6GB is for like 5,000 hours life. You get both $99
