Description: Awesome, solid, VINTAGE copper or bronze-clad figure on a marble base from Greece! Leonidas of Troy, missing his sword/spear and shield. This figure is made of a metal with a bronze finish. The finish is intact except a small worn area on his right thigh. I did not touch the finish -- so those dark areas on his knees, arms, feet, are all patina that can probably be polished out. The metal figure is bolted to a beautiful piece of green marble. The bolt is a bit loose as the figure can swivel a tiny bit. On the front of the marble base is a sticker that says "Hellenic Art / Leonidas of Sparta / Made in Hellas." On the bottom of the marble base is a piece of laminate flooring that resembles tile. There is one notable flea bite on the base. The marble measures about 7 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches.
