Description: A genuine German WW1 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class that has been in my family since my Great Great Uncle brought it back after WW1. The medal is in good uncleaned condition with, what as far as I know, is the original ribbon. Neither me nor my father replaced the ribbon since it was given to my father in 1972. But I cannot vouch that it is original to the cross. The medal is the usual multi piece construction with a silver frame and iron (magnetic) core.
