Description: This is a very clean 1987 White Body Samantha. She was stored by her owner in a box with her head tilted. I thought it was cute and didn't change it. (tightening the neck strings will do it). Features on a 1987 White Body Samantha doll include thicker wig with long blunt bangs and layered back; scalloped edge wig band; dark chocolate brown eyes; fan eyelashes; opaque salmon not translucent tan torso cups; peach face paint; and one of three styles of painted teeth. Hers are from Aug to Nov 1987. This doll comes with the complete Summer Collection. She is wearing the Middy Dress with matching Tam hat with 1989 tags. The outfit came with the brass whistle which is on a cord around her neck. The outfit had these matching High Button Black and White shoes. These are the original ones with wooden heals. Later versions have a double layer of sole material for a heel. The Nature Paraphernalia set includes the basket, flowers, flower press, butterfly net and 3 butterflies with magnet backs. The last part of the collection is the Summer Amusements, which are the paint box, brush, paint palette, 5 tubes of paint, sketch book, and a tuffet pillow. She comes in her black meet tights and white bloomers. A ©1988 Samantha's Summer Story Pamphlet is the first run of these pamphlets and is included. It is a rare and hard to find item. Most of these pamphlets are from 1990 or 1991.
