If you can find another pair of used Tannoy Monitor Golds –– INCLUDING ORIGINAL CROSSOVERS –– cleaner than mine, you should grab them! I have been a Tannoy junkie since 1955 and this is an outstanding pair of LSU/HF/15/8 Tannoys which I personally purchased decades ago. They went directly from their boxes into their custom enclosures, BUILT TO TANNOY FACTORY SPECS, and ultimately placed into special wall cavities created for them in what became my home office. They haven’t been touched until recently when due to some home re-modeling, my wife informed me that their space was going to be eliminated. Because I wish to remain married, I have reluctantly decided to sell these incredible speakers. Both drivers are in excellent condition and have their original Tannoy cones which have no rips or tears, no repairs and have not been modified.These drivers are being sold with their original controls and crossovers, which are also in original condition. If you are reading this, there’s no reason for me to extoll the sonic virtues of these guys. You know all about that, so allow me simply to say that if you want an impeccable pair of iconic speakers in lovely cabinets, these are what you have been looking for. I cannot remove and examine the enclosures by myself due to the weight, so there may be some ‘minor’ small blemishes on them, but I doubt they will be significant.
