Description: Title: Antique World's Fair Book Description: Presented for your consideration is this interesting and RARE old antique book from the 1893 World's Fair. This fair took place in Chicago and was known as the Columbian Exposition. This book was published in 1895 by The Werner Company in Chicago. It is a collection of famous statues that adorned the buildings at the World's Fair and some of the famous paintings that were exhibited in the art palace. Each page of the 171 page book shows a picture of the artwork with information about it underneath the photo. Pages have gold gilt sprayed edges. All pages appear to be intact. Finished with a softcover with a stitched binding. Binding is in very good condition. This hard to find book would make a great addition to any World's Fair or rare book collection! The title page has 2 small tears and some staining. The first 20 pages have some light staining in the upper margin. Some mild cover wear. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition.
