Rare 5-1/8" Figural Matador Hotel Del Coronado CA Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon

We also believe in fair pricing for both items and shipping fees. **This is a 5-1/8" very scarce Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego, California, Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon from around 1900 or so, made by a very good silver maker back then, Tammen, an American company. The bowl is embossed with a detailed scene of the landmark hotel on Coronado Island, across the bay from San Diego and "Coronado Hotel Coronado Beach Calif." The hotel was opened in 1888 by the Spreckels family, famous for sugar production. The spoon itself has a figural matador man in full costume, front and back. Length: about 5-1/8" It weighs about 15.6 grams of sterling silver. It is stamped "Sterling" with the old doll figure hallmark maker's mark used by Tammen. Engraving (dates, monograms, etc.): None. Condition: Very good condition with some minor normal tarnish and light wear from age and handling.
