Description: For your consideration, a charming and fairly rare antique Meissen porcelain figurine of cherubs representing the art of painting by Michel Victor Acier. The figurine is in overall good antique condition with no prior repairs or major chips / breakage. A few small spots / stains to the glaze and three small chips are noted in photos: paint brush tip, top of the front seated cherub’s big toe, and the edge of the standing cherub’s cloak. This piece is likely 19th century production of an 18th century Acier design. This figurine design was originally created as part of a set of 40 allegorical pieces to be displayed in Oranienbaum Palace. **Signature required for delivery. Item will be shipped double boxed.** Measures approximately 7.25 inches in height, 7 inches in length, and 5 1/8 inches in profile depth.
