Description: This auction is for a truly rare and fabulous small copper and enamel plaque commemorating the Holland-America Cruise Line 1873-1948. The plaque is from 1948 and features a cruise ship on the ocean with a sea gull, blue sky and green and white clouds. All the designs (the ship, clouds, waves and bird) have raised copper edges filled with enamel., This is an original piece and is in great condition with some slight discoloration in the sky (that may clean off) and some light discoloration in the enamel under the bird and the save next to the bird. The plaque is about 5" across and about 3 1/2" from top to bottom. Amazing authentic transportation rare item that would make a wonderful gift!
