I have used and meticulously maintained many technical pens over the years, and these particular pens have never been used. The Smaller sizes (5X0, 4X0) are especially rare and are in brand new condition. Pen Caps and Bodies are in perfect condition with crisp printing, no cracks or wear. Staedtler sold these in the U.S. under the model name Marsmatic 700 J and Marsmatic 709 for the rest of the world. These Technical Pens have a DURAGLIDE PROFILM Jewel Tipped Point. These are the finest tools for artwork and drafting on paper or film created by Staedtler. The beautifully constructed instruments have a separate machined, gold metal knurled grip, a trademark of the 700 J / 709 series.
