Description: This is a rare and sought after Vintage 1930’s Elizabeth Arden Masquerade Compact. This Art Deco style original compact is in quite nice condition for its nearing 100 years of age. The hinges and closure function very well and without issue. Some patina and blemishes in the brass plating which is to be expected with a lifetime of use. I hope I’ll look as good at that age! The compact is missing the original mirror and powder puff, both of which are an easy fix. This would be a great candidate for restoration or daily use, without fear of damaging pristine examples which often command prices $400+. The cases are very difficult to find and highly collectible.
