Description: A late 1940's .800 Silver filigree reliquary by Oliviera Vincenzo Genoa Italy measuring 1.30in H x 1.30in W. Reliquary holds a First Class relic of St Frances Xavier Cabrini on red silk with label of S.F.X. Cabrini V. On back under the silver protective cap, it's secured with a seal of red wax that is intact but shows age wear. The back silver cap does show some age related wear & dings. The reliquary is in very good condition with normal age related patina & tarnish that will polish away. No COA document. Relic came from a collection located in Manhattan, NY. Amazing piece of religious history. St Frances Xavier Cabrini (Mother Cabrini) was born in 1850 and died in 1917. She was canonized as a saint in 1946 and recognized as the Patron Saint of Immigrants.
