He spent the last years of his life working on these memoirs, which were published after his death. Red gilt stamped cloth over boards, xi + 356 pp., illustrated with etchings and photogravures, and facsimiles of sketches. This is a very nice copy, clean, no writing or marks, binding tight, but it has a faint musty odor, and the previous owner has written his name at the top of the front free end paper.
