This date commemorates her Diamond Jubilee,1897. There is a tiny hallmark found on the back of the pin, too hard to distinguish. The pin measures 1-3/4" with a "T" back design. This rare historic royal collectible commemorates 60 years since Queen Victoria took the throne in 1837. Queen Victoria was the first royal monarch to celebrate a diamond jubilee.
