Description: I bought the Singer because as a new Sewist, never owning sewing machine, it was a name I knew because my mom made all my clothes when I was young on a Singer. Machine bought four years ago, as a starter to help me learning to quilt. Used for about a year, before a friend gifted me a more heavy-weight machine for making art quilts. It has embroidery features, is lightweight for traveling. Wonderful starter machine for a young “Sewist” to be or grandchildren. Perfect inexpensive machine for this 74 year old!
