Description: This necklace is part of the Sombra Chinesa (Chinese Shadow) line and is called Cristo (Christ). This line was created to represent China's Shadow Theater which does wonders by projecting light cut by opaque matter which we perceive as dark forms but the light that passes through the energy of things projects color. The concept is the colored silhouette is the shadow of the soul of things. This necklace is the Lagrima D'or version of Christ the Redeemer which features a pendant with a white, gray and peachy cream marbled motif with gold and black geometric accents on a sterling silver chain. The pendant measures 1 3/4" long by 1 5/8" wide and the chain is 18" long. The first United Nations Conference to address environmental degradation was held in Stockholm in 1972. Already at that time the designer Carlos Sobral was working with resin and creating new techniques and alternative products to reuse all the raw material he consumed in the production of his collections.
