Description: South Pacific Megalodon TeethThese Unique colored teeth come from the South Pacific Ocean 800 miles east of Australia and a 3 day boat ride North of a small island called New Caledonia. They are dredged from a 1000 feet down using a scoop 2 meters wide. The boat used for this operation is the TUI 2 that makes passes within a 3 mile stretch . The scoop is dragged for 30 min . Then it takes approximately 30 minutes to winch the scoop back up from 1000 feet onto the boat’s deck. They do approximately 5 passes in a day. They would catch approximately 15 -140 teeth at pass.
