Description: In conjunction with the exhibition "Tove's Perspective Tove Jansson's Perspective," "Flocked Islands and Mushrooms," a collection of photographs by Takashi Homma and essays written by Keiko Morishita about various episodes related to the archipelago. Takashi Homma was inspired by the film "Hull, Island of Solitude," which documents Tove Jansson and Turikki Pietila's life in Kruvuhar, and published a photo book "A song for windows" (LIBRARYMAN) in 2016 that compiles photos he took on that island. Together with Keiko Morishita, who also served as coordinator on that occasion, he revisited the Finnish archipelago in September of this year and captured the mushrooms and nature that inhabit the islands.This book includes new photos taken by Homma, along with an essay written by Morishita about her own experiences in the archipelago and the playful and adventurous lifestyle of the islanders.
