They will probably have a smaller/tighter fit thru the Butt/Hips for the size. It will depend on how You determine Your Size Personally and how tight of a fit You like and Your Measurements against Mine. I don't know how true to size they are compared to other brands in this style/fit. I don't know how the fit will be for a normal size 16. They can Stretch some.
