Description: 1970-71 MARATHON OILDETROIT RED WINGS PRO STAR PORTRAITS7-1/2" X 10" JIM RUTHERFORD These awesome and very rare photos were premium items available from Marathon Oil. They feature an illustration of a Red Wings player on the front with a litho signature and an artist litho signature. The player's name is printed along the bottom border. Artwork was created by Nicholas Volpe, one of America's most distinguished portrait painters. Each photo has a common back and there were 7 different players available. These same portrait phots were also used to produce 12-oz plastic tumblers.
