Description: This vintage mother of pearl loose powder compact is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made in the United States, it was bought new by my aunt in the 1950s.I inherited it 35 years ago and never used it. The compact comes with a mirror and mesh screen, It is perfect for use as a loose powder compact or as a decorative piece. It measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 5/8" deep. I never noticed until taking pictures today that there is a 1/8" chip in the right corner of the compact.It isn't very noticeable and does not interfer with the compacts use. See the last photo.
