I will be selling many pieces including several vintage Lee-era Alexander McQueen items. This dress is rare and difficult to find Alexander McQueen Embroidered Skull Cape Dress in Off-White Silk Organza - I have never seen one for sale anywhere.It is a Lee designed dress from the 'Natural Distinction, Un-natural Selection' collection, Spring-Summer, 2009 Runway look no 7 The off-white almost pale-flesh coloured organza is embroidered beautifully with large central garlanded skull medallion This is layered over a nude silk crepe slip Embroidered with a large skull that is surrounded by leafy garlands and a bow Cape effect dress with gorgeous, complex draping Lined in a nude crêpe with a slight stretch Concealed side-zip This was look # 7 on the Runway SS 2009 collection Size 42: bust is approximately 34 inches / 86cm Outer layers are 100% Silk Organza Inner slip is 94% Silk and 6% Elastin In very good pre-owned condition. There is a small mark on one of the drapes. I am not sure if it is a mark or if it is a flub in the fabric. It is not easy to see hence I have shown two pictures of it This dress is from my personal collection of Vintage Alexander McQueen and has never been worn.
