Description: Vintage elaborate, beautiful, majolica art pottery urn with gargoyles on fake, ring handles. Probably made in the 1920’s or thereabouts but that is just a guess. It has a glossy finish. The urn is heavy. The opening at the top is 4” in diameter. The urn is 10.5” tall and is approximately 12“ wide at widest point in the middle of the urn. There are two large chips at the base bottom (shown in photo). There are also many minor spots where the green pieces of pottery are chipped but do not detract significantly from its beauty (shown in photos). The large flower blooming is all around the urn. The flower pattern is three dimensional in relief. The urn has 3 dimensional green leaves where most of the chips are visible. It will make a nice addition to anyone’s collection. The piece is really rare and a masterpiece! Note 1: It will be bubble wrapped, double boxed and quickly shipped as soon as payment is received. Note 2: Please let me know if you have information to identify the urn maker and to better describe and I will revise the description. Thank you. Howard
