When items are cared for and protected, they can last so long. This looks new from the packaging and the owner's manual. Item not tested. Great for indoor or outdoor use. The projector/viewer has a 4-inch diagonal viewing screen, auto threading, variable speed, & freeze frame functions. It uses 4 "C" batteries (not included).
