Vintage BEST BUY #7753, The Brown Suit, Fur Jacket, Mattel, 1974

Up for consideration is the 1974 Best Buy fashion # 7753, consisting of a long brown flannel skirt and jacket of brown flannel and beige fun fur. The skirt is in good shape: waistband elastic is tight; skirt has slight pilling and has fold creases on the front from storage. The jacket is in good condition: fur is fluffy and free from bald patches. The waist belt looks to have been cut; although the metal buckle is present, the other half of the belt is too short to join. The gold knit shell is missing and has been replaced with a yellow ribbed tank top; this top has some spotting on the back and a minor spot on the front near the top but displays well. These fashions didn't come with shoes (despite what some collector's sites say), but a pair of chocolate brown knee boots will be included to complete the look. Some flaws but overall, a clean ensemble that displays well. The dolls pictured in the photos are not for sale, but their ensembles will be listed for sale separately.
