Description: Vintage mid-century California Originals lidded/covered candy dish #426. The dish is a light blue-green color similar to turquoise with gold accents throughout. The shape and overall motif is that of a ribbed leaf. This is a fairly rare piece of California pottery. The company, California Originals, was in operation from 1955-1982. Based on the design & colors, my guess is that this piece dates to the 50/60s. The piece measures about 9" long, 5.75" wide, and 4.5" high with the lid on. In excellent used/vintage condition. There is a miniscule flea bite on the unglazed "rim" on the foot of the dish, but it is only visible upon close inspection, and only when the piece is turned over. Please see pictures.
