July 17, 1987 was Disneyland's 32nd birthday, and Disney's first animated feature, Snow White, premiered in 1937. On July 17, 1987, the US Post Office set up a commemorative cancellation booth in the parking lot for one day only. I bought some postcards and stamps and had them commemoratively cancelled on that date. This is one of those special cards. This is card #1984 in The Nickel Tour, the definitive reference book on Disneyland postcards. It is pictured in that book on page 321. Size: Approximately 6 by 4 inches.
