Unlike battery-powered timepieces, any wind-up watches DON'T work until being properly wound. To sufficiently wind a hand-winding watch, please turn the crown in its original position for 10-15 rounds or until it becomes tight. To wind a self-winding or automatic watch, please shake it firmly and repeatedly for 20 to 30 times and keep it in motion by wearing it for an extended time. In certain cases when a watch has not run for a while, you may also need to tap it firmly and repeated against a wood surface to initiate gears after properly winding.Being tested and monitored for a day or so, this watch runs strong and appears to keep time while being wound.
