Description: This vintage bottle was manufactured during the late 18 to early 1900s. It is made of a light green glass and embossed "TERRE HAUTE BREWING CO." "TERRE HAUTE IND." Terre Haute Brewing Co. was born in 1837 and continued to grow until just after prohibition. This bottle was made using a three part post mold where the middles portion of the base is formed by a separate small plate or "post" with the neck, shoulder, body, heel, and outside edges of the base formed by the two side mold sections. The lip was hand tooled finished. This bottle has is full of character with plenty of neat bubbles throughout. There is some light wear on the outside of the bottle as to be expected for its age. There is one tiny knick on the rim of the lip, but this bottle is in overall good displayable condition. Stands just shy of 10 inches tall and weighs 14.7 oz.
