Description: Vintage Haviland France "Ranson" 9-1/4 Inch Footed Oval Covered Vegetable Bowl with Bow Handles. No Lid. Measurements: The Bowl measures 9-3/8" in Length (11-3/8" with Handles) by 7-3/8" Width by 3" Height. Pattern Description: Haviland & Co., Schleiger #1, All White, Scalloped Edge, Bow Handles/Finials, No Trim. Made in Limoges, France. Discontinued. Actual: 1893 - 1931. Maker's Mark: The Green Printed Maker's Mark, arc'd 'Haviland' over 'France', was used by Haviland as a Manufacturer's Mark from ca. 1894 until 1931. There is no secondary designer mark. The bowl also has an impressed mark of 'R-2', likely indicating the shape. Condition: Excellent near antique condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is very little shelf wear and only light utensil marks. See photos.
