Vintage Ice Bucket Tongs Clear Ribbed Heavy Thick Acrylic Metal Handle Fluted

I also do some research when I don't know a whole lot about an item so that I can bring you information about it. Up for your purchase is the stunning Acrylic fluted ice bucket with metal (maybe silver plated) handle, not certain. It was very discolored and I cleaned the handle and it is shiny -you can actually see yourself in it now. I do not see any markings on the handle or the acrylic. I am including tongs, but I do not know for certain if they were ever a 'set'...they look great together I think. There are a couple of very light/minor scratches on the tongs. The acrylic part of the ice bucket measures approximately 5 1/4" tall and 4 3/4" across the top. From the bottom of the ice bucket to top of handle 8 3/4" tall. It is heavy, weighing 2.43 pounds (see last photo). Some of our items are pre-owned, vintage, or antique and so may show signs of previous wear or age. We strive to try to take as accurate images as possible. Some of these images are extremely close up and so may show reflections or imperfections that would otherwise only be seen with magnification.
