Japanese Large Pontil Glass Fishing Net Float Buoy Ball

Description: This is a real vintage Japanese blue green or aqua green glass ball float. It is thick glass with a very large thick pontil mark. There is a small amount of water inside and I'm not sure how that got there or how long that has been in there. Maybe it's vintage sea water too? I've taken close-up photos so you can see all the air bubbles and character in the glass. There is one mark that looks like it bumped up against something. It isn't a hole, only made a mark on the glass. Also, near the pontil there looks like extra glass may have been broken off, you can see in the photos what I mean. This is 9" diameter and measuring the entire size of it around the ball, it is 27". I don't know much more about it, there aren't any other marks on it to help identify a maker. The bright dot marks in the photos aren't actually on the ball, they are light reflections that happened while taking the photos. Payment is expected within 3 days of auction ending. We don't think that is too much to ask especially since it is only a couple of clicks to pay. If for some reason you aren't able to pay us within that time frame, please email us.
