Vintage JKW Joseph Kuba Western Germany Fine Porcelain Large Plate 13 1/8” Boys

Description: This item is being sold for the employee holiday fund at the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Maine where I live with my husband. All items are donated by the residents of the community and the net proceeds of all sales go to the fund that is distributed annually to the wonderful staff who help the many elderly residents here. I will give all the information I can about each item, but I am not the original owner. I have here a Vintage JKW Joseph Kuba Western Germany Fine Porcelain Large Plate 13 1/8” Boys Eating Fruit. This gorgeous large porcelain plate is about 13 1/8” in diameter, is gold rimmed and has painting of two boys lounging and eating melons and grapes. On the back is the “JKW” Joseph Kuba marking/logo that was used from 1952-1972 (I suspect this plate is from the early side of that time frame). One the back it says “Fine Porcelain” and “Western Germany” and there is something stamped in black over the logo that I am unable to make out – see pics!! The plate is in excellent condition given its age. This is a beautiful collectable and would be a welcome addition to any collection!
