Description: This is an original, signed, mid century painting by Listed late Italian artist P.G. Tiele. P.G. Tiele was a citizen of Italy where he was born and raised. He's well known for his numerous works of art in impressionism, each one a one of a kind gem in a variety of sizes. Some framed, some stretched canvas, some oil on board, others oil on canvas. Tiele died sometime in the late 1970's. The outside of the frame measures 17L x 9W, the width of the frame and mat from outside to the visible painting is approx 3.25". Very nice frame. The visible part of the painting measures 11.25L x 3-3/8W The boats are painted with thick impasto. A lovely gem.
