Description: I was told by the person I got these dolls from that they were actually owned by Cowboy Bob's mother. I obviously have no way of verifying this, but I believe it to be true since she also had a whole stack of Cowboy Bob headshots and they were purchased in Indianapolis l, where Cowboy Bob filmed his show for so many years. I am including my copy of Cowboy Bob's headshot with these dolls.My research tells me these dolls were made between 1963 and 1965 when the Knickerbocker company took over the manufacturing/license from the Gruelle family. They have been kept in incredible shape considering they are almost 60 years old!These will be a special addition to a Raggedy Ann and Andy collector or someone that is interested in a very high quality popular vintage rag doll.
