Description: This creamer stands 4 inches tall and is an original piece with a Calico Blue (Burleigh Stamp) Staffordshire, England. This vintage Staffordshire Calico Blue (BURLEIGH) Creamer is a beautiful addition to any collection. The oval transferware creamer features a hand-applied Calico Blue pattern on a glossy finish, making it a collectible and charming piece. The creamer is manufactured in England in the 1960s. The blue and white pottery has a timeless floral theme, and is in very good condition. There are no cracks or crazing. There is an indentation on the base that looks like a flea bite chip. It is smoothly glazed over the top, so I am thinking it is a production flaw that happened pre-glazed and firing. See last couple photos. This creamer is perfect for serving milk or cream, and would make a great display piece.
