And UK obviously!!Where possible I've researched the maker and date, but often with artisan handmade items that isn't always easy/possible.I'm not a gemologist, but have tested any gemstones as far as I can and also check the provenance from when I bought them.The silver is hallmarked and/or tested. This is a true statement ring.A solid 15.5g in total weight.Stamped 925.The colour is stunning. Beautiful flashes of blue.The optical effect belongs to Labradorite properties and is known as labradorescence.Labrador in Canada was the place where labradorite was located first. It was found in the late 1700s. Now it is found worldwide.The legend goes that an Inuit warrior discovered the astounding array of colours inside the gemstones and perceived them as the lights of the aurora trapped inside the rocks, so he gave them an almighty whack with his spear to free them to the skies in which they belonged. Postage and packing. The safest way to send any jewellery is enclosed in a box, otherwise delicate items can easily be crushed.So in the P&P I've allowed for a box and safe packaging.PLEASE don't compromise your beautiful jewellery by having it packed in a Jiffy bag.
