Description: This is a vintage Valley View Dept Store Brookfield, Ohio miniature dollhouse package of 4 bananas. They could be used in a diorama or dollhouse. The Valley View Dept. Store opened in August of 1959 on the Sharon Warren Road property owned by Joseph and Samuel Ferrara, and closed just before Christmas of 1995. They Valley View Dept. Store carried just about everything people wanted to buy, and was a forerunner to large discount stores. The package measures 2 3/8 inches wide, by 2 1/4 inches long. The bananas look realistic, and measure approximately 7/8 of an inch long. The piece has the original price tag from the store, but it has separated from the package.
