Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg. Erzgebirgishce 1980s German Santa smoker, St. Nicklaus with three dangling wood toys/original box. Made in the German Democratic Republic. Good condition with age related issues. His canvas bag may have light soiling, some threads sticking out in places. There are three toys; train cars. One of the roofs could be missing in a green color or never there to begin with. A hobby horse and a wood puppet. The train is hanging with a red string, horse with a white string on left hand. The right may have had string where the puppet with red string was dangling from; just loose. Right arm may have been reglued at some point; not butted up against body as well as left one. Nicks behind right arm, other scuffs on wood in places from age/use. Beard may be lightly soiled, dirt in crevices. Has a white painted moustache; slightly yellowed from smoke coming out of mouth and a few nicks on front side of top. The base, the burner metal piece is scorched from the residue from incejse. The base has a dark spot and some nicks. Not detrimental. His mouth also has some scorching in hole. Underside has a sticker, Erzgebirgische Volkskunst. Made in German Democratic Republic. Sticker has some wear and spotting. Underside has nicks in wood, a small reglued splinter on underside edge. Box lid with graphics has small splits in all four corners. It has stains inside and on the sides and buckling on paper edges. The front of box has numbers;; made in German democratic republic. Lid has a brown spotting and shiny residue in places. The bottom has some iissue pieces and some orange stains on bottom; mainly on underside. See all pics for they are part of condition. May have other pics not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 8.75" tall.
