Description: These follow the XTRATUF sizing convention of running a bit large for any given US Size. They correspond to an EU 48 (most US sneakers consider a EU 47 to correspond to being a US13). The LAL-000 is NOT as voluminous/wide as the "Commercial Grade" Xtratufs like the Topwater, etc. though they're close. Don't think that these are equivalent to the immersion resistance of Neoprene Waders and such, because they are not. They work well in heavy splash environments in which actual immersion does not go above the point where the laces begin. I've used these through a season and found them a decent all around boot, though they have limitations similar to any other boot. Occasional reapplication of aftermarket waterproofing on the stitching and leather keeps them as useable as any other lace up duck-style boot. I realize that some users have complained about sole separation, though I've had no problems with the two pairs that I've used over the last year, so...? Ask as needed, Best of luck.
